Steve Ardington
Principal Designer / Founder
Steve founded Ardington and Associates Design in 2013 with a desire to create a highly personalized approach to residential design. With a background working in architectural offices and in project/construction management, Steve is well rounded in both the artistic and technical components of design. Steve enjoys working with modern and more classic styles of architecture, with a consistent goal of creating timeless spaces that reflect the individuality of his clients.
Outside of work, Steve can be found with his wife and 2 boys travelling to race tracks and fixing their go karts, playing baseball, snowboarding, travelling, or trying out new restaurants.
Lucas Michel
Design Director
Lucas became a member of the team in 2022, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in architectural and interior design, both locally & internationally. He is extremely passionate about residential design, and continually seeks the perfect balance between, functionality, aesthetics and innovation. Lucas thrives on the design challenges associated with each project, and aspires to advance each one through the design process as if it were his own.
Outside of work, Lucas enjoys spending time with his wife, chasing after their two boys, all the while trying to restore their historic home in the heart of downtown Brockville.
Shannon Johnston-MacBride
Senior Architectural Technologist
Shannon joined Ardington and Associates in May of 2020. She started her career in structural engineering drafting, and has gained experience in project coordination as well as concrete and steel manufacturing. Shannon uses this technical experience, and knowledge of the construction process, to bring designs to fruition.
When not at work, Shannon can be found outside with her dog, camping, in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, or crafting in front of the TV.
